English Premier League title contender Arsenal has officially launched its Nike 2010/11 home kit.

According to the Gunners' website: "Every shirt is made entirely from recycled polyester, crafted from up to eight plastic water bottles as part of Nike's 'Considered Design' programme, which sees discarded plastic bottles diverted from landfills to be used in the manufacturing process."

Drogba, Arshavin, Cannavaro and co stars in (NIKE)RED - Lace Up, Save Lives ad

There are thousands of ways to wear the laces and even more things to do with them, but there's one way to help stop the spread of HIV/AIDS in Africa.

By wearing NIKE(RED) laces on their feet (or hands, heads, arms, waist) Didier Drogba, Andrei Arshavin, Clint Dempsey, Denilson, Marco Materazzi, Javier Mascherano, Fabio Cannavaro, along with Maria Sharapova and Kobe Bryant want to encourage fans globally to Lace Up Save Lives.

This is a pretty nice ads which brings the message that we can do more things with the (NIKE)RED laces including to help stop the spread of HIV/AIDS in Africa. But Fabio Cannavaro's lace earphone and Andrei Arshavin take lace as his breakfast?? LMAO, this is funny.

How (NIKE)RED laces works?
  1. You purchase (NIKE)RED laces.
  2. Nike is contributing 100% of its profits from the sale to the Global Fund and to football-based programs that help fight AIDS in Africa.
  3. Funds are received by programs like Grassroots Soccer, which uses football as a framework to teach youths how to avoid contracting HIV/AIDS.
  4. Funds are also contributed to The Global Fund to fund HIV/AIDS programs that support the purchase of lifesaving Antiretroviral (ARV) medication, training of medical staff, HIV testing and treatment to help prevent the transmission of the virus from pregnant mothers to their babies.
  5. Life-saving knowledge is received by the next generation in Africa.

Holland 2010 World Cup Nike away shirt leaked

Do you like the chevron? FootballShirtCulture has pictures of the Holland 2010 World Cup new away kit with chevron design at front. This new Holland 10/12 Away kit will be officially unveiled in march 2010.

I like the 'V for Victory' chevron in Holland flag colour lines which you can simply get the meanings of 'Victory for Holland'. The Holland's 2009 away shirt's 3 straight lines just only represent Holland.

Although it is using same template with Manchester United shirt, I don't think this shirt has lost its personality as it has Holland very own pattern of shirts, just look their last few shirts in the past.

Although received criticisms from the public of the Nike's "pageant sash" kit, they still continue roll on with it. Overall, the shirt is pretty cool, it will be cool even without that pretty sash.

The picture of the pageant above combine with the new USA World Cup Kit could have able to get into my Totally lookalike category.

For your informations, the USA new World Cup shirt design is based on the shirts used by the US national team at the World Cup 1950:
