Alright, England midfielder Frank Lampard's 20-yard chip should have made it level. Germany was lucky getting away from it. Or else, it might be a different story. Anyway, England's defense was crap against Germany. The final result Germany 4 England 1. Congrats, of course, to Germany.

Michelle Obama is really bad at football



America's first lady has been showing off her football skills -- with the goal of helping cut the country's obesity epidemic. Michelle Obama put her best foot forward at a soccer clinic in Washington, as part of her 'Let's Move' campaign. It aims to give children a healthier, more active lifestyle.

The first lady makes a tackle but the small child gets past her...


Anyway, it's nice trying to motivate the kids to do some exercise.

Two autograph hunters tried to trick John Terry into apologising to Wayne Bridge.

They filmed their ambush of love-rat Terry at England's Hertfordshire HQ



They ask him to write: "To Wayne, I'm sorry".

Terry replies: "To who?" They say, "Wayne" and then: "Just put sorry."

Terry realises the ruse and asks: "Are you f****** winding me up?"

But he carries on writing - and signs: "To Wayne, best wishes."

The craziest own-goal ever



In a lower level German football match between TSV Wimsheim and TSV Grunbach last weekend, Grunbach gave away a bizarre own goal ever!

While Grunbach taking a goal kick, strong winds blow in the face of the Grunbach players where the Grunbach goalkeeper was forced to hold the ball in order for his defender to take the goal kick. When the ball loop into the air, strong wind change the direction of the ball in 180 degrees back to the Grunbach's own net.

Mats Magnusson (Benfica) - Match Against Poverty



The tubby fellow here is former Swedish star Mats Ture Magnusson who is regarded as a Benfica legend. He plays for Benfica XI against Zidane XI in a charity match to raise money for Haiti. Magnusson played as a striker scoring 64 goals in 124 games for Benfica during late 80s and early 90s. He retired from professional football in 1994.



Don't laugh. At least the former Malmo and Benfica legend makes a brief cameo in Benfica XI vs Zidane XI Haiti charity match for good cause.
