Why England's goal vs Germany didn't count? Here's proof.

Here's proof!

(via imgur)

Alright, England midfielder Frank Lampard's 20-yard chip should have made it level. Germany was lucky getting away from it. Or else, it might be a different story. Anyway, England's defense was crap against Germany. The final result Germany 4 England 1. Congrats, of course, to Germany.

Once again FIFA is being questioned should video technology being introduce into football. Come on FIFA, it's year 2010 already.

David Beckham will miss World Cup South Africa

David Beckham is set to miss World Cup in South Africa after David Beckham ruptured his achilles tendon with two minutes remaining of AC Milan playing against Chievo in Serie A match last night.

A TV reporter said Beckham told Milan's club doctor: "It's broken, it's broken."

Beckham's injury incident...

"The World Cup is finished for David Beckham.", said the AC Milan medic, Jean-Pierre Meerseman.

AC Milan confirmed Beckham snapped the tendon in his left leg and will out of action for at least 3 months. Beckham will fly to Finland for surgery today.

AC Milan boss Leonardo said: "We will wait for tests but it looks very serious. The injury makes us feel terrible. He is an extraordinary guy and his performance in this game proved that yet again. I cannot enjoy this evening considering what has happened to David [Beckham]. But when the tendon goes you feel it straight away and he understood immediately that he had torn it and what that meant."

Michael Owen out for rest of the season

Sir Alex Ferguson has today confirmed that Michael Owen will be out for the rest of the season after picking up a leg injury in the League Cup final last Sunday. Owen's injury is more serious than we thought and requires an operation on Monday.

"It's a bad blow for Michael and he's out for the season," Ferguson said. "It was more serious than we thought and he'll have an operation on Monday morning.

"It's a terrible blow for the lad and disappointing for us, too. He never missed a training session all season. The heavy pitch at Wembley played some part, but it's also bad luck."

Photos: New Umbro England away kit 2010

Umbro unveiled the new England away kit with Kasabian in Paris, which will be used at the World Cup 2010 South Africa. Looking at the shirt based on the one worn by the World Cup winner in 1966, it is very simple and plain design red in colour. Some of you may think new Umbro England away kit is too basic, but I think it is pretty classy. Enjoy the gallery below:
