Malaysia's government pulls back vehicles end-of-life policy





The Government has decided to withdraws the vehicles end-of-life policy after taking most of the feedbacks are negative from the people regarding the yearly inspection of 15 years old and above vehicles. Check out the Ministry of International Trade and Industry (MITI) statement on the scrap policy:



So, more dangerous vehicles on the road? Yes but accident caused by old vehicle is minor. The driver's road safety awareness is the most crucial. I don't mean end-of-life policy for vehicles is a bad idea. It's just introducing such policy is not about time.
