A linesman was attacked from the crowd in the Turkish Super Lig match between Diyarbakirspor and Bursaspor. The referee stopped the game following the attack.

Guus Hiddink confirmed to coach Turkey

The Turkish Football Federation have confirmed that former Chelsea manager Guus Hiddink has agreed to coach the Turkish national team from August 1st 2010. The 63 year old Dutch man has put pen to paper on a four years contract and will guide Turkey to the European Championships in 2012.

"The Turkish Football Federation chairman and vice chairman met Mr Hiddink in Amsterdam yesterday and agreed on a deal of four years, of which two years will be optional," the Turkish Football Federation said in a statement on Wednesday.

Taking corner kick is dangerous in Turkey

Turkey's Galatasaray fans welcoming the visitor to hell. Their supporters literally called Galatasaray's stadium, Ali Sami Yen Stadium as "Hell".
