The Turkish Football Federation have confirmed that former Chelsea manager Guus Hiddink has agreed to coach the Turkish national team from August 1st 2010. The 63 year old Dutch man has put pen to paper on a four years contract and will guide Turkey to the European Championships in 2012.
"The Turkish Football Federation chairman and vice chairman met Mr Hiddink in Amsterdam yesterday and agreed on a deal of four years, of which two years will be optional," the Turkish Football Federation said in a statement on Wednesday.
