A Lufkin man accidentally drove a $1.6 million Bugatti Veyron into a saltwater lagoon, La Marque, Texas. The 2006 Veyron have been made 200 only and one of only 15 in the United States and one of them was in a lake.
The driver, Andy Lee House, 34, also owner of Performance Auto Sales, responds that a low flying pelican distracted him, causing him to jerk the steering wheel a bit. Then he dropped his cell phone and crash.
However, the crash was captured by a Facebook user filming the car with a phone or digital camera. Check out the actual crash footage video:
