Manchester United outplayed Manchester City and reach Carling Cup final.
A week ago, chief executive Garry Cook declared to a gathering of the club's supporters that City would reach the League Cup final "not if, but when, we beat [Manchester] United again".
"This football club will be without doubt the biggest and best in the world," Cook said. "People don't like to hear it but I'll make no excuses for saying it, and I will never stop saying it because I truly believe it with the resources and capabilities that we have – and when, not if, we're at Wembley having beaten Man United yet again!"
The Guardian claims that Manchester City's owners are to review chief executive Garry Cook's position at the club as they are coming close the end of the season campaign.
I sense Garry Cook is in danger of lossing his job because the club's owners concerned about the embarrassment their chief executive is causing the club. More criticism of Garry Cook can be found in Wiki.
