Manchester City striker and Togo captain Emmanuel Adebayor was wearing Arsenal shirt in his Sky Sports News interview on 12 January 2010.
The former Arsenal striker, who ran the length of the pitch to celebrate in front of Arsenal fans and stamped on Robin van Persie at Eastlands, describes how he is feeling after the terror attack on the Togo team bus in Angola. There is also have rumour that Adebayor is set to make Arsenal return after he wears Arsenal polo shirt on TV interview.
Later on he explained why he wore Arsenal polo shirt wearing Manchester City shirt: "I realised this morning when I woke up that I was wearing an Arsenal shirt yesterday. What happened was that on the Angola border, we left all our baggage on the bus and ran away. So I had nothing to wear and the first person I asked gave me that shirt. I didn't even realise what I was wearing. Even yesterday, instead of going to my room to sleep I went to the wrong room. Everyone is confused about what happened. In our heads we don't know what we are doing."
It is understandable the Togo national players are confuse after the terror attack. I'm doubt that how they going to concentrate on 2010 African Cup held in Angola under this situation. Anyway, thums up they decided to play for the victims in terror attack.
