GIF of the Day: Steven Gerrard elbows Michael Brown in the head

Alright, smacking Michael Brown in the back of the head is not a bad choice if you're going to smack any footballer. Brown is a nasty little git, but there is no excuse for smacking someone's head with an elbow and this is a very dangerous act.

The incident can be seen here:

The Liverpool's captain definitely did it on purpose, if the FA let this go, it's a joke. Just last week, Gerrard escaped punishment from the FA after he makes V-sign at the referee and told him to "fuck off".

Liverpool boss Rafael Benitez's guarantee rocked by Wigan's Hugo Rodallega

"I have to have confidence in my team and I am sure we can do it because I know we are better than the team you are seeing on the pitch, I can guarantee we will finish in the top four." - Rafa Benitez.

Steven Gerrard flashes a v-sign at referee Andre Marriner

Liverpool's captain Steven Gerrard could be in trouble as FA might investigate the incident of him flashing a v-sign at referee Andre Marriner after he was booked in the 81st minute of Liverpool's 1-0 defeat to Wigan Athletic on Monday.

There was some suggestion television pictures had captured the incident but neither Marriner nor Liverpool manager Rafa Benitez had noticed the v-sign gesture.

Was Gerrard's v-sign shown to the referee were tended to tell him to f*** off?

Picture of the day: Steven Gerrard dive

This is definitely going to be picture of the day. Why? Check out the video:

Last weekend, Liverpool 0-0 draw with Blackburn Rovers in this match. Steven Gerrard fall in the box looking for penalty. It looks penalty should be given from that angle, but it will be harsh if it really given a penalty because of little contact there. Anyway, it is more likely a dive to me.

Quotes by Steven Gerrard:
"I don't think there's anything worse than a player diving when no one's been anywhere near him. It does ruin the game." – Steven Gerrard.

"If I saw a team-mate doing it, I would definitely have a word." – Steven Gerrard.

"Players like Carvalho and Ronaldo are damaging football." – Steven Gerrard.

Quotes by Fernando Torres:
"Moreover, it's your own team-mates like Steven Gerrard who don't like you using those tricks." – Fernando Torres.

In a dictionary, under hypocrite, you should see Steven Gerrards name.
