Two footballers died this weekend. RIP Endurance Idahor and Robson Costa

It's been a tragic week in football. Macclesfield manager Keith Alexander passed away last weekend and now two young footballers died this weekend.

In a league match in Sudan between Al-Marreekh and Al-Amal on Saturday, Nigerian striker Endurance Idahor collapsed after just 12 minutes of the match. He was unable to breathe and rushed to hospital. 23-year-old Endurance Idahor died in the ambulance on the way to the hospital.

A day after Idahor died, Brazilian futsal star Robson Costa, also 23, died of internal haemorrhaging on Sunday night. He made sliding tackle and a small piece of the indoor court's wooden floor came off punctured his thigh making it to his intestines. Costa was immediately taken to a hospital and underwent surgery but couldn't save him.

May they rest in peace.
