The Nokia Image Exchange team has released a new version of Nokia Image Exchange for S60. In this update, multiple bugs were fixed and now the accelerometer is support for 3.2 devices. They also claimed this version should provide better responsiveness to users.

Activity notifications inform about new images from your friends present in the People menu as well as comments to your images and images that you have commented. There are a few setting to control the notifications also.
I've installed the new version of Nokia Image Exchange since it's one of my favourite Nokia Beta Labs applications. By comparing to previous version 0.95, I found that the new version transaction animations has been reworked for smoother animation and faster. From switching to the next picture and rotating it in 360 degrees, the animations just won't show sign of lagging.
This is a one hell good software which I have no idea why Nokia still putting it in their Beta Labs. For your information, the Nokia Image Exchange team is considering a version for touchscreen UI. Anyway, what I hope for is they will continue this project.
