Google Wave is a new online tool for real-time communication and collaboration. A wave can be both a conversation and a document where people can discuss and work together using text, photos, videos, maps, and more.

After I tried stuffs featured in Google Wave, it's an ideal online tool to collaborate on projects, student's assignments,instant message, chatroom, etc.
For your information, this is still an early preview of Google Wave (Beta), some features are not yet functional but it does look pretty promising. Google Wave could be opened out to the public by the end of 2010, so why wait?
